Day two of installation
Above: candy coloured careers!
The grey sisters and the mothers and the babies that they looked after.
This area was grouted at the end of the day because I had many questions about whent he girls would be able to sit and jump on their bench again. It must be a favourite of many.
I've made it nice and flat for you to sit on.

Beginning the mosaic
We began installing the mural on a very hot day so the photographs are washed out with the sunshine and heat . . . .
The wonderful girls have put the hundreds of little words that we have made into alphabetical order!!!! The after-school team were sorting them into the sentences for me, thankyou girls. They will be very pleased when I turn up with the missing words tomorrow.

5D make the Grey Sisters
The old house in the back of Ormiston College was originally the home of the Grey Sisters who looked after mothers and babies.
Here are 5D's versions of the Grey Sisters looking after some babies.
